In a bid to transform young boys into better men in the future, a Nigerian Non-governmental organization, House of G3 is channeling its resources to advocating for the education of boys and men. This comes shortly after the NGO held its annual international conference in Lagos to mentally equip the boy child on securing their future as men.
The Conference had sessions where young boys were mentored by youth leaders and mental health professionals on improving their academics, building their self-esteem by engaging in positive conversations, understanding their focus in life and achieving all their set goals while ensuring they were useful to themselves and the society.
Speaking at the conference, the convener of House of G3, Mrs. Temitope Onabiyi explained that boys today will become men worthy of emulation tomorrow hence it is important that people continue to advocate for their growth and development.
Also in support of the conference were teachers and students from Olusosun Primary School, Ojota; St. Peters Anglican Nursery and Primary School, Alausa; Sogunle Primary School, Ikeja; Agidingbi Primary School, Ikeja and Lagos State Model Primary School, Olusosun.
All young boys in attendance were able to receive cash prizes, school supplies and other gift items.
